Day Of Rest

Did i tell you about my kidney stone???? NO...well let me fill you in.......................

On sunday 11th jan 09 i woke at 3am with pains in my groin and lower left back, the pain gradually got worse coming in waves....so i thought it only right to disturb my husbands peaceful slumber...........i put up with the pain for an hour longer when i finally gave in and said call shrop doc.....that morning at 6.20am i was admitted to hospital........cat scan later revealed i had 1(6mm )stone in my left ureter and 1 in my right kidney. At first they were going to go in and fetch it out, but then decided it would pass on it's own( not without a lot of pain i was told).

So i am now waiting for my out patients appointment, the stone has not come out yet, and thankfully i have only had 1 day of real bad pain which was a week after the original pain.

Makes going anywhere kind of awkward thou because i have been asked to sieve my pee, because docs want me to keep stone so they can send it to be examined by path lab.

I have decided though that training has to be restarted,hopefully the exercise will make the stone move............So tomorrow after work it is back on my indoor bike trainer and the trampette..

Iam going to enjoy the rest of the day with my family
