THE REASON WHY I AM DOING THE BIG HEART BIKE RIDE 2009

Hi,

On Sunday 29th June 2008 i got a phone call from my sister in -law to tell me that my brother Edwin had died from heart failure. He only had his 50th birthday a month before.
There had been no indication that this was going to happen, no warning signs.
He leaves behind a devoted wife, and a much loved daughter who was just 12( i was same age when my dad died, from similar thing) his mother and me his only sister.Also extended family on both sides,who all miss him dearly too.

In November 2008 i was sat reading my weight watchers mag, when i came across an ad saying Fern Britton was doing a charity bike ride. I went onto the internet to check it out some more, when i came across this ride for heart charities. I knew straight away that this was something i wanted to do. (1) THIS IS IN YOUR MEMORY EDD. (2) I enjoy cycling. (3) I like Egypt( have been there a couple of times but for work not holiday) (4) Hopefully money raised will go to helping people with heart problems.

I hope that anyone who reads this blog will support me, any donation large or small is gratefully received.
